The trip includes the entrance to the reconstructions of Erik the Red's farm and Tjodhilde's Church, where a guide will show you around. In the afternoon you can hike from Qassiarsuk along the gravel road towards the fjord Sermilik. Half the way, there is an amazing view over both fjords; Sermilik usually filled with ice. The landscape is wild and covered with small, blue lakes. If you follow the road all the way, it ends up at the sheep farm Tasiusaq (16 km return). You can also relax at the cosy Café Brattahlid.

Wednesday

Furthermore, the town has several fair-sized companies such as Great Greenland with tannery and sewing facilities for creating beautiful sealskin clothes. Around the town, the visitor will meet sculptures being a part of the famous project "Stone & People", where different sculptors have made the town a big sculpture park.
