Accommodation
Blue Ice owns the hostel in Narsarsuaq.
Additionally we own the charming Igaliku Country Hotel as well
as the hostel "Gardar Hostel" in Igaliku. At Igaliku
Country Hotel we serve breakfast, lunch (or lunch packet) and
dinner.
In the towns in South Greenland you can choose between different
kinds of accommodation; ranging from hotels and guest houses
to different types of hostels. In South Greenland you also find
several sheep farmers, who offer accommodation in their ancient
house. It gives a unique experience, and look into a Greenlandic
family's everyday life, to stay at a sheep farm for a night
or two. Many of the farms are situated in an overwhelming nature.
The only contact with the surroundings might be with a VHF radio.
Blue Ice helps you to arrange accommodation on the following
sheep farms: Inneruulalik, Tasiusaq, Nunataaq, Sillisit, Ipiutaq
(www.ipiutaq.gl),
Qanisartut and the farms in the village Qassiarsuk.

no mosquitoes in Igaliku! In all areas with sheep, there
are practically no mosquitoes. This means, you can sit
quietly and undisturbed at the terrace in front of your
cabin, and enjoy the sunshine and the view!
